Life Story
Tormentor was born and raised in a large city on the west coast. Over 100 radioactivists lived there together worshipping in harmony. One day, when Tormentor was about 19, humans with live metal bearing the symbol of a red sun rising came out of the water to the west and destroyed the city.

Tormentor was out on a hunting party at the time, and they were the only survivors. They fled to the southeast, and by the time they found another village of worshippers, only Tormentor and one other mutant had survived the journey.

They lived in this village for a while and one day the village leader was killed by a Sep while out on a hunting party. Tormentor led the group who killed the Sep. After their victory, Tormentor proclaimed himself leader.

Another mutant in the village also claimed the leader's place, so Tormentor had to defeat him in mortal combat to win the position. After plunging himself into the holy glow, Tormentor had only gained benefits, so the high priest and the people knew he must be blessed by the glow and was the rightful leader.

He then moved his people on, searching for weapons, wealth, and new "holy lands".

But that is another story for another time (more of Tormentor's history to come).
